The female pop sensations have teamed up to create an angelic track to be featured on the hit HBO series Euphoria for “Part 2: Jules,” episode. The episode following the Rue spec will be premiering on HBO this Sunday, January 24th.
Along with the premiere of Euphoria’s latest episode, Billie & Rosalía also dropped a stormy and dark music video that aligned perfectly with the song's energy. Their voices interchange between Spanish and English lyrics and it is almost hard to tell who is who. The video was directed by Nabil and produced by Tara Razavi. Check it out above.
Fans have been waiting for this dream collab ever since the Spanish singer tweeted back in March 2019, “can’t wait to finish our song” along with a photo of the pair. In April 2020, Rosalía said in an interview with Apple Music's Zane Lowe that she had been working on finishing the song in her “little” studio:
“I have been trying to finish the Billie Eilish collab. I think it’s getting quite close.”
As we all know the pandemic has disrupted the entertainment industry entirely. Luckily for us the creators of Euphoria have taken it upon themselves to safely create a miniseries in between seasons to keep fans engaged and obsessed with their favorite characters. The show took the millennial world by storm back when it premiered in 2019.
In other Billie Eilish news, her documentary Billie Eilish: The World's A Little Blurry debuts on Apple TV+ this February 21. She's also got a self-titled photo book dropping on May 11, and was nominated for four awards at the 2021 Grammys. Rosalía has been killing the feature game with bylines on Bad Bunny’s El Último Tour Del Mundo track, “”LA NOCHE DE ANOCHE” and Travis Scott’s, “TKN.”
